Large Linen Wheat Bag

These Heat Packs are filled with wheat, and can be heated in the microwave and used to sooth period cramps and aches. They can also be used as a cold pack, just chill in the freezer.

These are 33cm long by 15cm wide

HEAT: Heat for 2 minutes only. Place heat pack in the microwave with a cup of water, this is to help keep it moist and prevent the wheat grains

drying, which will reduce the risk of charring.

TEST TEMPERATURE: It should feel warm but not uncomfortable. When heating a heat pack for someone else, (especially the young or elderly) consider that the temperature they prefer may differ to you.

AFTER USE: Leave your heat pack to cool fully on a non-combustible

surface (like your kitchen draining board), and then store in a clean dry

place out of direct sunlight. Do not wash your heat pack, surface clean

with a damp cloth only if needed. Ensure the heat pack is completely dry before heating again.

DO NOT exceed heating times stated in the instructions for your particular size of heat pack.

DO NOT leave a heat pack unattended whilst heating.

DO NOT use a heat pack if there is discoloration or charring.

DO NOT use a hot heat pack as a bed warmer or under blankets.

DO NOT fully reheat a heat pack until it has completely cooled (this

could take up to 2 hours).
